Enrollment Information and Application

Three-Day Workshop Package includes welcoming wine and cheese reception Friday evening, February 15/March 14. Three full days of art instruction including critiques, demonstrations, daily painting sessions, and lunches! February 16-18 or March 15-17, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Supplies and Equipment:

You will receive a supplies list upon receipt of your enrollment form. Please bring everything needed for class since the workshop location is six miles from Michael's Art Store. A folding stool, a field easel, clothing and shoes appropriate for working outdoors are recommended if you'd like to join Elin in painting on location (weather permitting). There are easels, tables and chairs for studio painting, but you may choose to bring your portable easels. If you are traveling in, supplies can be shipped via UPS, FEDEX or DHL to Elin's Studio (address below).

Registration:

Class size is limited to 10 students and reservations are accepted in the order in which they are received. A wait list will be created when the class is filled. Postmark or fax date/time determines ranking. Use the enrollment form provided to register for the workshop and mail or fax it with your deposit of $90 per person to:

Upon receipt of your deposit, you will receive a supplies list, detailed travel information, places to stay, and a confirmation/invoice. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival. Balance may be made in US Dollars by cash, personal check or credit card through Paypal.com.

Accommodations

Various motels and exceptional accommocations are approximately less than two miles from the studio, near the University of California or, for five-star pampering, at the famous Mission Inn, downtown. There are no accomocations at Elin's Studio for RVs. You can, however tent camp.

Lunches will be provided and there is a microwave in the studio area. Snacks and a light breakfast will also be provided during the workshop by Elin, along with the Capresso coffee machine for tea, lattes and coffee. Dinners are on your own, and there are many fine restaurants in the area.

Travel Directions:

The workshop will be held at Elin's Studio, inside Box Springs Nature Preserve and as part of her home, in Riverside, California. It is a large facility with a workshop dedicated for the workshop experience. It also includes a theater with 12' screen for showing art movies. The studio is closest to the 91 and 60 freeway interchange. The airport serving Riverside is Ontario International. Cars can be reserved from all national Rent-A-Car agencies for pickup at the airport. Attendees flying in should arrive by early afternoon on Friday afternoon, to check into motels, if necessary and attend the 6:30 PM welcoming party at Elin's Studio.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are applied as a pre-payment of tuition. All cancellations must be made in writing. Up to 30 days before the start of the workshop, $75 cancellation fee will be retained for each cancellation. For cancellations with less than 30 days notice, the deposit of $90 will be retained. Elin Pendleton Workshops cannot be responsible for issuing refunds, credits or transfers for classes missed due to illness, emergencies or events beyond our control. If Elin Pendleton cancels a workshop, all money will be promptly refunded. Call before enrolling if you have any questions about these policies (contact information in the application form).
